Postage, Payment and Returns Info



All my items are sent by Royal Mail 1st Class Post (UK only) Standard Airmail for the rest of the world.

If Special Delivery is required an additional charge is payable, option at shopping basket.

If you require an item in a hurry or within a week, the Special Delivery is recommended.


We ship to most of the European Union, United States, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, Japan, Norway & Switzerland.

Parcels will be shipped by standard Airmail or the tracked signed for service is available for an extra £5.50

Shipping to Europe takes approx 4-10 days, USA/Canada approx 10-14 days, Australia approx 10-21 days

Please ensure that your delivery address is up to date, especially on Paypal.

We aim to post out most items within 1-2 working days (excluding weekends & public holidays) of cleared payment, Monday- Friday, with exception of custom made to order items.

Most parcels will have a Track & Trace reference number which you can obtain if you are concerned about your parcel, this number can also be emailed to you when the item has been dispatched.

If the post office has attempted to deliver but the item has not been collected from sorting office (after 7 days), and the item is returned back to us, you would then be responsible for additional shipping costs to redeliver.


Payments: Payment must be received and cleared before any goods are despatched.

All goods have no added VAT, as I am not VAT registered so cannot charge it..

If you are in the United Kingdom, payment can be accepted by any of the following methods; Paypal, Cheque, Postal Order or Instant Bank Transfer.

International buyers - Paypal only is acceptable, you can purchase in the online shop, or you can purchase through my Etsy shop.


Returns; Please email straightaway if you wish to make a return, or within 7 days of receipt of the item.

You then have up to 14 days to return the item, at your own cost, in suitable packaging, with the same care & attention as the original packing, preferably in the original box.

Refunds will be for the cost of the item ONLY, not postage.


Items returned after this period or deemed to be used, worn, badly packed and damaged in returning, smelling of smoke etc and not in original condition will be refunded at my discretion, depending on whether the item needs to be written off and will be subject to a partial 50% refund only.
Please note, it is very easy to tell if a fascinator has been worn and is a hygiene issue also.

The cooling off period and right to cancel/ return goods does not apply to: Custom Made Bespoke orders and Auction Items, as in line with the Distance Selling Regulations, so any custom made to order items will not be refunded.

In extreme circumstances, any custom orders returned will be refunded, less a 20% restocking/ labour fee for time.

In all cases, email any problems.


Deposits: A 20% deposit is required on all custom made orders, which is deducted from the final total on completion.

If the customer cancels the order for any reason, the deposit is non refundable, as materials would have been purchased to make the order and the item may already have been made up.

Rush Orders-

Any orders placed which need to be made up and posted within 24-48 hours will be subject to a £3 surcharge, for prioritising the order, as all orders are made in date order on a first come, first served basis.(This is a non refundable charge)

They will also have to be posted by Next Day Special Delivery.


Colour Samples:

Unfortunately due to the time involved and increasing postage costs, there is a small charge of £1.50 for colour samples to be sent out.

Either payable by Paypal or you can send a Stamped Addressed Envelope, please email to discuss your requirements, preferably with a picture or link of your outfit.


 All items are posted in a sturdy packaging cardboard box, with tissue paper and bubblewrap, the utmost care and attention is given to ensure minimal damage in transit, although we are not responsible for any damage incurred to the packaging once it has been posted.

Photographs: Although I try to ensure that the picture is as accurate as possible, the cameras image may not always reflect the image seen in person.

Colours of the items may vary very slightly compared to the picture, different computor monitors show colour in different ways.

If you are unsure, colour samples are available and more photos.

Please note that especially with the sinamay fascinators there is a set colour palette that is available from the millinary supplier, so it will not always be possible to match an item exactly.

**Please note that all items are hand made to order and are made from natural materials, so each piece is unique and may not be totally identical to the picture on the listing.

The feathers are all individually unique, so no two are alike, and the materials from the dying process are not always totally perfect as we are dealing with natural products.
Each piece comes out very slightly different...but is essentially the same design.***
