Postage, Payment and Returns Info


All my items are sent by Royal Mail 1st Class Post (UK only)

Second Class Postage is also available on request, if you don't mind waiting a little longer and paying less postage.
Please add a note to the order and I can refund the difference, as unfortunately the template does not allow me to add postage options in the basket..

If Special Delivery is required an additional charge is payable, option at shopping basket.

If you require an item in a hurry or within a week, the Special Delivery is recommended.


** As of the 1st July 2021,  I am no longer able to process overseas orders on this website, due to new international sales tax regulations, please email or visit my Etsy Store where you can purchase any of the items on the website, Etsy will calculate and collect all sales taxes due for the relevent countries **


Parcels will be shipped by standard Airmail or the tracked signed for service is available for an extra charge.

Shipping to Europe takes approx 7-10 days, USA/Canada approx 10-14 days, Australia approx 10-21 days

**Shipping times are approximate and are subject to change due to holidays, customs delays and weather problems.**

Overseas Customers please contact for ordering details and any additional shipping costs.

Please ensure that your delivery address is up to date, especially on Paypal, I am not liable for any costs incurred if a valid or incomplete delivery address is provided..

We aim to post out most items within 1-2 working days (excluding weekends & public holidays) of cleared payment, Monday- Friday, with exception of custom made to order items.

Most parcels will have a Track & Trace reference number which you can obtain if you are concerned about your parcel, this number can also be emailed to you when the item has been dispatched.

If the post office has attempted to deliver but the item has not been collected from sorting office (after 7 days), and the item is returned back to us, you would then be responsible for additional shipping costs to redeliver.


Payments: Payment must be received and cleared before any goods are despatched.

All goods have no added VAT, as I am not VAT registered so cannot charge it..

IMPORTANT: Import duties, VAT, tariffs, taxes, and any other fees imposed by YOUR individual country are NOT included in the item price or shipping cost.
These additional costs are the BUYER'S responsibility.

*Please note, I do expect contact regarding the order, as there are always details to discuss, if I dont have any contact at all or response to emails, I will cancel and refund any orders after 7 days.*


** Due to the COVID 19 pandemic - All Veils and custom made items are now NON refundable/ returnable because of contact risk & hygiene issues **

If the veil must be returned. it must be unworn and the refund will be for the cost of the item only, not postage, all returned veils will be destroyed as they cannot be resold.

Please email within 14 days of receipt of the item, if you wish to return for a refund or exchange.

*Anything after this time period will NOT be refunded*

You then have up to 14 days to return the item, at your own cost, in suitable packaging, with the same care & attention as the original packing, preferably in the original box.

It must be back within the 28 day window of receiving.

The item must be returned in a new, unused condition.

** Please try and avoid trying on if you are unsure where possible in light of the current health crisis **

** Items will be quarantined for 3 days on receipt of parcel before checking and processing a refund** 

It must be well packed to avoid any damage and sent with trackable postage, which is at the buyers OWN cost..

Anything outside of these time periods will NOT be refunded, as in line with the Consumer Contracts Regulations. (No exceptions)


If an order is cancelled before shipping and the item has already been custom made to fulfil that order, then the refund would be subject to a 20% labour and materials charge.

IMPORTANT - For international returns from outside the UK please mark your parcel RETURNED GOODS/RETURN
You will need to make sure that you use the correct forms for your country for returning goods to overseas destinations.
Any extra charges/ customs duty incurred by myself from the above not being correctly done, will be deducted from the refund total, or the parcel will be refused and no refund issued.

Premium tracked overseas shipping costs will not be refunded.

Deposits, Rush order and Shipping Upgrades (Special or Tracked Overseas) are non refundable.

Exceptions- Custom made designs and anything used or worn will not be refunded.

** Non Delivery/ Lost or Damaged Parcels
Please allow up to 25 working days after dispatch, as Royal Mail compensation claims cannot be filed until after then.
Incorrect or old addresses given will not have the shipping refunded, as its the customers responsibility to ensure the correct shipping address is provided.
Please contact as soon as possible if any problems occur.
If an item/ parcel is damaged, photos will be required to add to any compensation claims.

Cancellation of an order is required within 24 hours, if an order is cancelled and it has already been made up to order, materials used and time spent on it, then it will be subject to a 20% charge for materials and time, same as a non refundable deposit.

Deposits: A 20% deposit is required on all large custom made orders, which is deducted from the final total on completion.

If the customer cancels the order for any reason, the deposit is non refundable, as materials would have been purchased to make the order and the item may already have been made up.

Colour Samples:

Unfortunately due to the time involved and increasing postage costs, there is a small charge of £2 for colour samples to be sent out.

Either payable by Paypal or you can send a Stamped Addressed Envelope, please email to discuss your requirements, preferably with a picture or link of your outfit.


 All items are posted in a sturdy packaging cardboard box, with tissue paper.

The utmost care and attention is given to ensure minimal damage in transit, although we are not responsible for any damage incurred to the packaging once it has been posted.

Photographs: Although I try to ensure that the picture is as accurate as possible, the cameras image may not always reflect the image seen in person.

Colours of the items may vary very slightly compared to the picture, different computor monitors show colour in different ways.

If you are unsure, colour samples are available and more photos.

Please note that especially with the sinamay fascinators there is a set colour palette that is available from the millinary supplier, so it will not always be possible to match an item exactly.

**Please note that all items are hand made to order and are made from natural materials, so each piece is unique and may not be totally identical to the picture on the listing.

The feathers are all individually unique, so no two are alike, and the materials from the dying process are not always totally perfect as we are dealing with natural products.
Each piece comes out very slightly different...but is essentially the same design.***
